We are proud to share that Edward Stein, Director of Support/Building Services at The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Centre, has been chosen as the 2017-2018 Professional of the Year!

Joining The Grand Pavilion team in October 1997, Stein has been looked to as a resource and valued asset to the team for the past twenty years. His team members have shared that “he is the man to get the job done” and that he is always willing to lend a helping hand, wherever needed.

“I’m a multi-tasker, and I want to always be reliable for my fellow team members,” Stein shared. “It’s rewarding to see happy family members and team members when I can help them; if I can do something fast for them, I want to. It’s rewarding to help when I can.”

Stein continued, “The Grand Pavilion is a neighborhood, a home-like atmosphere. It’s been awesome to be a part of the community from when I helped to buy the first PC in the building, to during renovations and community upgrades.”

When Stein learned he was chosen as Professional of the Quarter, Stein was surprised and excited. He was honored to be recognized, stating, “I do a lot over and above, but I like to help. I didn’t know that anyone recognized me this much.”
