Amy Yu, DPT
Director of Rehabilitation
Amy grew up in the proud city of New York since the age of three when her family emigrated from China. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She then attended and graduated from Stony Brook University’s School of Health Technology and Management with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Since graduation, Amy has had experience working in various setting such as acute care, pediatrics, orthopedics, and geriatrics, but it was her love for geriatrics that led her to join the CareRite Rehabilitation team. She began as a staff physical therapist, transitioning to the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation at CareRite’s downtown Brooklyn rehabilitation community, The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She is excited to begin her new role as Director of Rehabilitation at The Grand Pavilion Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Centre! Amy is fluent in three different dialects of Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, swimming, skiing, and traveling.
