John Ortiz, RT, ACLS, BLS

John has been in healthcare for over ten years.  One of his best friends passed away as a result of not wearing his CPAP mask.  A week before his passing, he shared with John that he disliked wearing the mask.  In retrospect, John wishes he was more knowledgeable about his friend's respiratory issues and could have guided him differently.  This led to John’s interest in respiratory care.  Patient interactions and being part of a positive outcome are what drive this staff member.  In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family.
