Sarah Benedict, MSW

Sarah earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and has been working in healthcare since 2016. She began her career as a social work intern doing home visits in Philadelphia and later moved into an outpatient hospital setting as a behavioral health therapist with Main Line Health. There, she worked closely with individuals navigating substance use disorders and acute mental health challenges. After moving to New York, Sarah knew she wanted to continue using her skills in a role where she could truly make a difference. She started at the sister community, The Monarch, and has since joined the GP community. She loves spending time with residents, checking in on them, and building real connections. Making sure people feel supported and cared for is important to her—she treats everyone the way she would want her own family treated. In her spare time, Sarah is a proud mom of two. She enjoys biking, spending time at the beach, and relaxing with a good comedy.
