Silvia Dirug

Silvia has a bachelor’s in Communication Studies from SUNY Oneonta and a bachelor’s in Advertising and Marketing Communication from FIT. She has worked in healthcare for just over two years as an Admissions Coordinator. Prior to entering healthcare, Silvia spent more than a decade in real estate and client services, where she developed a passion for helping people navigate important life decisions. Healthcare allows her to combine her strengths with a more meaningful opportunity to support individuals and families during challenging and often emotional times. What she enjoys most about her role is the opportunity to support people during a time when they may feel uncertain or overwhelmed. She believes that listening carefully, being fully present, and treating every individual with dignity and respect can make a meaningful difference in their experience. Helping patients and families find answers, navigate the admission process, and feel heard is the most rewarding part of her work. In my spare time, she loves reading, writing, painting, and exploring a variety of creative projects. Silvia is especially interested in psychology, philosophy, and personal growth, and she enjoys learning about what motivates and connects people. Creativity has always been an important part of her life, whether through art, design, or finding new ways to solve everyday problems. One of her greatest strengths is organization. She believes in creating efficient systems, improving processes, and making information easier to understand and navigate. Whether working with patients and families or coordinating behind the scenes, she believes thoughtful organization helps create a smoother and more positive experience for everyone involved.
